Social Story About Returning to School after Covid19

Use this SEL book to help kids identify their emotions and feelings during this uncertain time. Returning to school after coronavirus might be something kids are anxious about. They have mixed feelings about returning and they will need lots of reassurance.

This social and emotional learning book will be an asset during those first few weeks of school, the book features 16 slides which addresses things like, following rules, what to do if you feel sick, how school is now being safer etc. You can go on further about rules they will need to follow depending on particular school rules.

First you may need to download the app ‘Boom Cards’ onto your iPad or tablet, however you can still use it via the browser so don’t worry. After you have setup a free account, you get access to the cards via the link sent in the PDF. It will then live in your library for future access. How cool is that?

The best part about these is that they are completely NO PREP and can be used on any device, even your phone! I usually get the kids practicing these on tablets or iPads since their screens are nice and big, but if you’re out and about, you can definitely use your phone. Just be sure you download the Boom Cards app (it’s free). That way any deck you access will automatically be saved into your library.
