Simple no prep name activities to do at home

When you’re ready to have preschool kids learn to identify letters in their name, you can pull out some fun name activities to help them further build their names and write their names. What comes first though, is letter recognition.

Before you start with crafts, have them practice name recognition with some of the following activities:

Write their names on a board and have them circle their names.
Write the letters of their name on the board and have them identify or erase the letters on their name.
For a fun activity to help them develop gross motor skills, hide letters of their name around the room (use magnetic letters) and give them time to find them.

You can do these between ages 2-4, depending on when they are ready to learn of course.
