The cool thing about this one is that it has all the pages we just talked about plus more. And you can customise it to your preference if you want to.

For your preschooler, using a school memory book can be a fun and enjoyable experience.

Here are some tips to get the most out of this particular project:

1. Schedule dedicated time: Choose a quiet and relaxing time to work on a memory book with your child. It can be a quiet weekend morning or afternoon. Avoid rushing the project; Have a fun and exciting career.

2. Make each page its own: Encourage your child to personalize each page. Let them choose colors, decorate with stickers or pictures, write their thoughts or express themselves. This really makes the book unique and reflects their personality.

3. Use Notes and Instructions: The printable book template you download will come with a prompt for each page. These prompts are designed to guide your child’s book and inspire their creativity. For example, on the “My Favorites” page, you can ask them to draw and label their favorite food or toy.

4. Involve family members: Encourage other family members to participate in creating a memory book. They can also help with drawing, writing messages, or giving pictures. This involvement adds a personal touch and makes the book more meaningful.

5. Celebrating Milestones: As you work through the book, take some time to celebrate your child’s milestones and accomplishments. Think about how much they have grown and learned during their preschool years. This can be a motivating experience for both of you.

6. Make It a Memory: When you finish the memory book, consider keeping it as a memory. You can laminate a few pages, use a binder to keep it all together, or store it in a special box. This way you can revisit these precious memories for years to come.

What memories do you have from preschool?

Ah, preschool memories! Thinking back to my own preschool days brings a flood of nostalgic moments. Even though memories from that age might seem hazy, certain things stick out vividly.

One of my fondest memories is the excitement of show-and-tell. I remember eagerly waiting for my turn to share something special with my classmates—whether it was a favorite toy, a drawing, or even a book. It was a simple activity, but it felt like a big event in our little world.

I also recall the joy of arts and crafts time. We would glue macaroni on paper to make necklaces, finger paint masterpieces that resembled blobs of color (but were masterpieces in our eyes), and create handprint art like the ones we talked about earlier. It was messy and fun, and I loved every minute of it.

Then there were the circle times, where we would gather on the carpet to listen to stories or sing songs. I can still remember some of the catchy tunes we sang—songs about the weather, the days of the week, and silly rhymes.

And of course, there were friendships forged during those early years. I remember my best friend from preschool—we were inseparable on the playground, sharing snacks, and giggling over secret jokes that only we understood.

One memory that stands out is my preschool graduation ceremony. It felt like a major milestone at the time, wearing a tiny cap and gown and receiving a diploma (which was probably just a piece of paper with our names scribbled on it). The pride and excitement were palpable, and it marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Preschool memories are special because they capture a time of innocence, wonder, and discovery. Everything seemed larger than life, from the colorful classrooms to the friendly faces of teachers and friends. Looking back, those moments were the building blocks of who I am today—a tapestry woven with laughter, curiosity, and endless possibilities.
