#2 Coping Skills Easter Egg Basket SEL

Basically, kids get this basket template labeled “My Basket of Emotions.” Then, there are these Easter eggs with different emotions drawn on them. Things like happy, sad, angry, you name it. Each egg also has a coping skill written on it, like “If I feel angry, I can draw.”

>> You can get the FULL set of templates including the black and white version here Coping Skills Activity Craft.

The idea is for kids to cut out these emotion eggs and paste them onto their basket.

>> You can get a FREE template without the editable component here inside the spring surprise folder: impulse control for kids craft.

Then, they can write or draw what they’ll do if they feel that particular emotion. It’s like a little toolkit for dealing with different feelings.
