S Words Speech Therapy Medial S Sound Games

There are a number of reasons why children don’t pronounce the ‘s’ sound properly as they are learning it. It’s essential we give them plenty of activities and practice to help them develop their s initial, medial and ending sounds.

Games help engage children in the skill at hand without them feeling like it’s a part of learning. Have you ever struggled to get your students to sit down and complete a worksheet? I’m not opposed to worksheets per se, but I do frown upon them, especially if there’s no real engagement coming from the child.
