So many times in the year I wish I had simple print and go to resources. I created these printables to have a way to get kids to practice reading, tracing and identifying their sight words.
Looking for a hand-on way to practice sight words? You can buy the most popular item in our store for sight word play dough mats. The best part? There are editable mats in there for you to add your own sight words!

Students will love this Frozen Ice princess themed sight word game. Students will cut out their picture puzzle, read the sight words on each box. They will then find the sight word on the grid and paste it onto the grid to solve the puzzle. Kids in kindergarten need a lot of sight word reading activities and exposure to help develop their reading fluency. These games are a great way to do that!

Frozen Sight Word Worksheet Puzzles
To begin, for the first game instruct the students that they will cut up their picture puzzle cards and leave the grid with sight words in tact. They will then find the sight word on the grid and paste it. Be sure to instruct the students to read to identify the sight word before they do this. AN option with traceable sight words is also included for optional further practice. Although, I would use the the non-traceable words with younger kids as they learn to read and identify their sight words.
They return this card to the basket and they keep going until all words have been pasted! This is a great way to reinforce reading and writing sight words. As an added element of fun, you can have the kids race to see who gets all their sight words and the puzzle figured out.
