Sight Word Sentence Posters Fry Sight Words: Preschoolers, kindergarten and first grade students will LOVE learning with all of these fun and visual sight word sentence posters!
These sight word sentence cards will provide an effective and engaging way for your students to read sight words in context. Students will also be exposed to different types of sentences and words. Make a book with these posters, laminate them and use them in small groups OR hang up posters with words that you are working on each week. Additionally, this set includes a black and white version of all the posters so that students can make their own booklets whilst reading the sentences and tracing the sight words. They are perfect for ELL/ESL students which was the main reason for my creating them. These are great to reinforce the use of the words and they help with fluency and writing.
This fantastic bundle includes 920+ posters with hands-on printable activities to help teach sight words on context with your students:
- Fry’s first 300 sight words
- Three different options for printing: FULL COLOR, WHITE BACKGROUND WITH COLORED GRAPHICS, LINE ART FOR PRINTING BOOKLETS.
Here are some MORE ways you can use these posters:

- Use as a word wall
Here are some pictures of how these posters were used:
Sight Word Builder Mats:
Students will build their sight words using magnetic letters or letter tiles. They will also read the word in context.
Sight Word Coloring Booklets:
Students will trace and read their sight words then color each page. This helps them remember their sight word spelling and meaning. This is a great way to help students see patterns and relationship in words, thus building phonics and spelling skills.
Can these posters be used in a homeschool setting?
Definitely. They can be used in the same way as with students in mainstream classrooms.
