Kids will love these Christmas themed free cutting strips. I needed to make strips that ranged between easy (thicker lines to cut) to a bit more challenging lines and thickness. Preschoolers will love to pretend play as they cut their gingerbread cookie strips. These would make a great addition to a Christmas cutting practice free independent tub.

Montessori Cutting Lines
Montessori cutting strips are one of the most important skills that a child will be learning in this classroom.
This skill is also used in other areas of life, such as cooking and arts and crafts.
Dinosaur fine motor clip cards (shape matching cards).
The Montessori cutting strips are a set of small pieces of paper that come in many different colors and shapes.
The child will use these to practice the skill of using scissors by cutting them into smaller pieces.
These gingerbread themed cutting strips are pre-made, so print them out, add them to your jar of cutting strips along with some scissors and you’re done!
Cutting strips for preschool
These cutting strips would make a great addition to your rotations at preschool.
Kids need a lot of scissor skills before they’re able to hold a pencil or even use markers.
How to use these cutting strips
First, I would print out the pumpkin strips and then instruct the students that they will. Need to carve their pumpkins this morning.
They will then pick a strip (again, choose the set that is easiest to begin with) and then they will follow the line to cut the strip. They continue this until all the strips are cut.

This file contains 2 different sets of cutting strips (they all make the same image). They are designed by line progression to help kids maximise their learning and gradually develop their small finger muscles.
Comes in blacklines. You can choose to print on colored cardstock however.
