This robot craft is so simple to set up!
List of Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Cardstock paper
- Pencil – to trace the template
- Craft glue
- Sharpie or gel pen
Papercraft Robot Pop-Up Card
Instructions:
Step 1:
Select colored craft papers for the robot and heart patterns and select cardstock paper for the card. The template includes patterns for the robot, heart and the pop-sockets of the card. Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut out the traced pattern.
Step 2:
The robot pattern has many small patterns; you’ll need to craft it carefully. Attach the ear cutouts on both sides of the head cutout and attach the bulb cutout on the top side of the bulb base cutout.
Step 3:
Attach the small heart cutout on the bulb and attach the eyes on the head.
Step 4:
Attach the bulb on the top-middle part of the head. Use a sharpie to draw the mouth of the robot.
Step 5:
Attach the small round cutouts on the leg and arm strips. Attach the neck cutout on the top side of the body part.
Step 6:
Attach the legs and arms with the body part.
Step 7:
Attach the head pattern on the top side of the neck.
Step 8:
Prepare the card from a cardstock paper. Prepare the pop-socket strips from cardstock paper as well. Fold one side of the robot’s pop-socket according to the distance of the robot from the card and keep the other side slightly shorter than the robot. Same goes for the heart. We are keeping the heart behind the robot.
Step 9:
Attach the pop-sockets with the card on its inner surface.
Step 10:
Attach the robot on the further (from the card base) pop socket.
Step 11:
Attach the heart on the closer pop socket.
