Games: Polar bear games are a fun way for kids to learn about these animals and improve their motor skills. Games like pin the nose on the polar bear, a polar bear scavenger hunt, or a polar bear racing game will keep kids entertained and active.
Movies: Watching movies about polar bears is a fantastic way to bring the world of these animals to life. Some popular movies to check out include “March of the Penguins” and “Happy Feet.”
Science Experiments: Science experiments are a great way to bring the physical properties of polar bears and the Arctic environment to life. For example, kids can experiment with how polar bears stay warm in the cold or how ice melts.
Easy polar bear craft
I love to make simple crafts using materials I have on hand like paper plate crafts, small circles with cardboard, toilet paper roll, white card stock, popsicle stick and more.
This polar bear art idea is so much fun and would make a great name craft activity too for young children. Young kids will love making this craft and building their names with tissue paper or the template provided.
It’s a great addition to any winter animals unit.
The best part about this craft is that you won’t need to make the polar bear’s face because he is sitting sideways.

Printable polar bear craft
An easy way to make this craft is to print the template, and have the kids color their polar bear.
They will then cut it out and glue the two pieces together to make a polar bear.
You can then add the letters of their name onto the snowballs.
They will then glue the letter snowballs onto the polar bear. It’s a wonderful way to learn all about their names and polar animals.
