There are several things we can implement as teachers/parents to help our kids feel less anxious about end of year:
- Show children ways in overcoming anxiety and apprehension (ideas listed below).
- Create a memory book to have a preschool or kindergarten keepsake to reflect on.
- Start discussions about what kids will do in the coming year.
- Remember building good relationships with students and children is key – so anytime there’s apprehension about the end of school year, there will be less anxiety if students and children have a good relationship with their carers and teachers to be able to express themselves well.
