Well, if we think back to our time in school when we were young, there was a time that’s all we used in the classroom. But worksheets now have come a long way! There are super talented teacher authors leading the way creating hands on and interactive worksheets for practically any skill or subject. Just do a quick search on TPT and you will see my point!

St Patricks Day Sensory Bin Activities

Kids love sensory activities because they are so stimulating. From the smell of fresh-baked cookies to the feel of a soft blanket, these activities will help children learn about their world in new and more exciting ways.

Sensory activities for kids can be simple or elaborate, depending on your time and budget. A simple sensory activity can be set up like the example below:

Create a tactile experience by placing different textures on a tray or cookie sheet. Try adding items such as sandpaper, cotton balls, silk flowers, sequins, leaves and so on. Let your child explore these textures by touching them with their hands or feet!
