What are pre-writing activities?

Pre-writing activities are activities you give to young preschoolers who aren’t quite ready to write and trace letters and numbers just yet. Pre-writing activities mainly help preschoolers learn how to use their fine motor skills, pencil grip and more.

You can try different activities at home to help preschoolers develop these skills, the important thing to do here is to show them how to perform the activity and give them time to follow your lead and develop skills on their own.
