Kindergarten Christmas Centers 

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE Christmas! I think I’m borderline obsessed with all things Christmas (and before you ask, yes I am one of those who have their tree up by November if not earlier each year.)

The holiday season is filled with fun cookies, Christmas trees and more. December is truly a fun time for all involved in education. Check out some fantastic free worksheets below to help you set up the best centers this December.

This post will include some FUN freebies and ideas you can use with your preschool kiddos this Christmas!

All these centers are fairly easy to prep and use, I’ve included lots and lots of hands-on activities to help develop and support fine motor skills.

Christmas Literacy Centers

I loved using these fun upper and lowercase matching stocking puzzles. I used a pocket chart in some instances with these, but you can totally complete them in a group / center.

We even have fantastic gingerbread man theme activities, these name activities are used in my literacy activities for fantastic learning fun each year!

Reindeer Alphabet Match

These cute alphabet match task cards are differentiated. You can use them with preschoolers and kindergarten kids.

Build a Sentence Christmas Center

Christmas Writing Prompts

Get ready to dive into some seriously festive writing fun! Here’s the deal: I’ll be given these awesome Christmas-themed prompts that’ll totally get my creative juices flowing. I mean, we’re talking about imagining the North Pole, describing Santa’s sleigh, or even creating a new holiday tradition!

How cool is that? So, kids will be flexing their creative muscles, letting imaginations run wild, and crafting some holiday magic through words.

There are tons more activities in the Christmas Kindergarten Centers bundle. This was a favorite with my students. Mama Clause’s cookie plate letter tracing cards. Laminate these and use them with dry erase markers.

Gingerbread letter cookie and house matching activity. We also use a pocket chart here but you can totally build them on the table.

Santa’s Sack Phonics Activity

I’ve got a fun and festive printable activity lined up – the Santa Sack Phonics Sort! I’ll be diving into this cool activity where I’ll help the kids sort words into Santa’s magical sack based on their sounds.

It’s like giving Santa a hand in organizing his sack, but with phonics!

We’ll be listening for those sounds and sorting words like little phonics pros. Can’t wait to see the kiddos ace this sorting activity and make Santa’s sack all neat and phonics-friendly!

This activity is a total blast because, you know, who doesn’t love counting presents, especially when it’s all about Santa?

I’ve cooked up a fun and magical activity for our little learners – Elf Number Order Task Cards!
