1. Holiday Mishaps Coloring by Pippa Dippa
Best for families with kids, teens, and adults coloring together.
Pippa Dippa’s Holiday Mishaps Coloring takes familiar Christmas scenes and lets the plans go sideways. In one picture, Santa is so sound asleep on the couch that his popcorn hasn’t even budged. Mrs. Claus, meanwhile, looks like she’s mentally calculating how many chimneys are still on the list.
In another scene, a gingerbread rider hangs on to two candy canes while a pair of kids share a sleigh with a giant present. Look up at the shop window and you’ll see an elf pulling a reindeer who’s having a perfectly lovely time with a hot drink. If the reindeer steals the show at your house, try these easy reindeer crafts and activities next.
Both scenes are kid- and teen-friendly, with silly visual jokes and bold outlines. The big shapes make these simple Christmas coloring pages easy to start, and the smaller details give adults something to linger over. They’re a good fit for a family coloring night where everyone gets to choose their own colors. Keep the Santa theme going with these easy Santa crafts.
2. Grumpy Ghost’s Christmas Coloring Book
Best for teens and adults who like their cozy Christmas humor a little spooky.
This book has 50 bold and easy holiday coloring pages starring a grumpy ghost. It shares the playful spirit of Holiday Mishaps, with the added joke of a ghost looking thoroughly unimpressed by all that Christmas cheer. Pick this one for someone whose idea of festive is leaving the Halloween decorations up and adding a bow.

3. A Very Capypbara Christmas
Best for kids and adults who love cute animals.
This pick from the CHIPPY Christmas Magic Collection puts capybaras in cozy winter scenes. The humor is gentle and comes from the idea of the world’s most unbothered-looking animal participating in Christmas festivities. It’s an easy choice for a younger animal lover or anyone who wants a quieter coloring session.

4. Funny Christmas
Best for teens and adults who want classic holiday characters in silly scenes.
Funny Christmas combines cute Christmas characters with lighthearted holiday scenes. It’s a good pick for a Christmas movie night when you want something to color between the predictable parts. Yes, that includes the part where the big-city visitor discovers the local tree farm.
5. Silly Christmas
Best for adults who enjoy crude holiday humor.
The subtitle lists adults and teens, but I’d treat this one as an adults-only pick. Save it for the friend who likes a cheeky gag gift or a grown-ups-only gift exchange. For kids or teens, I’d choose one of the gentler books on this list.
6. Dark Side Christmas
Best for teens and adults who like spooky-cute coloring pages.
Dark Side Christmas gives holiday coloring a slightly eerie twist. If you’d reach for purple, black, and icy blue before you’d reach for red and green, this is the one to try. Grumpy Ghost is the pick for a funny character premise, while Dark Side Christmas is the pick for the spooky look.

A Quick Guide to Choosing a Christmas Coloring Book
For mixed ages, start with Holiday Mishaps Coloring or the capybara book. For a teen who likes a Halloween twist, try Grumpy Ghost’s Christmas or Dark Side Christmas. For the grown-up who likes their holiday humor a little rude, go with Silly Christmas.
