Activity ideas for Fine Motor Skills
Role playing community helpers activities are great in a preschool environment because kids love to pretend play.
My second favorite way is to add some fine motor skill activities into my lessons.
I love working with play dough to build fine motor skills, check out these race car play dough mats for kids. ! I love incorporating play dough in my centers and activities.
Kids love working on their literacy skills with these summer sight word play dough mats.! They work very similar to a recording sheet.

How to use these printable community helpers play dough mats:
Just print each page (in color if working on play dough) and laminate it.
Have the kids read the prompt (read out lout together) and then they create the item for each ‘community helper’. They will be using their imagination skills as well as their creative thinking skills to make these.
