Why are fine motor skills important?

Fine motor skills are the small movements that we use to carry out tasks like using a pencil, picking up small objects, and buttoning clothes.

A lot of kids don’t have the opportunity to develop these skills in their early years. That’s why it’s important for parents to take an active role in teaching these skills to their kids. Here are some games and activities that can help you teach your child alphabet while developing their fine motor skills:

-Puzzle games where they put together letters with their fingers or toes.

-Playing with clay or dough where they need to squeeze it through a hole or make a ball with it.

-Using play dough letters as building blocks for towers and castles.

-Sorting objects by shape, color, size, etc., using different
