How to Set Up the Turkey Shape Matching Activity

Print the turkey mat and shape spinner on cardstock, then laminate them for repeated use.

For the matching pieces, use a mixed pack of foam geometric shapes. The activity works with common 2D shapes including:

circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, and ovals.

You can use loose foam shapes for quick center work or add hook-and-loop dots if you want students to attach the pieces directly to the mat.
