This Thanksgiving craft is even better than a paper plate pilgrims craft. Just print the free printable template at the end of this post, prepare some glue sticks, scissors and coloring crayons and kids will get to work straight away!
The best part about this simple craft is that preschoolers get to practice working on the letters in their name along with tracing their names!
I like to make easy crafts to help involve toddlers in themed crafts too.
Easy Thanksgiving Crafts Pilgrim Activities
Young children will have so much fun making their pilgrim crafts with these templates. You can use the black and white paper option to have the kids continue to color their crafts.
Kids of all ages will love these crafts, even older children will love decorating and making these crafts.
The craft supplies you will need:
- glue sticks
- scissors
- crayons

Best pilgrim crafts
Kids will make their own pilgrim by cutting the shaped template, then tracing their name on the sheet, cutting that paper cut out and adding it to the pilgrim head.
They will then cut out the letter boxes in their names and glue them underneath the pilgrim. They can decorate their pieces, but also you can cut out the pilgrim face and add a photo of the child for added personalisation. So much fun.

These crafts are even better than pilgrim paper plates or paper tube pilgrims because they get to practice writing their names too.

I just didn’t use the name component with toddlers. This craft truly requires inexpensive craft items to kick it off and the whole family will enjoy it!
