What Is the Octopus Life Cycle?

The life cycle of an octopus has four main stages:

  1. Eggs – Octopus eggs are laid in clusters and are jelly-like in texture.
  2. Larva – After hatching, octopuses are tiny and float in the ocean plankton.
  3. Juvenile – As they grow, they begin to resemble adult octopuses but are much smaller.
  4. Adult – Fully grown with eight arms and capable of laying eggs themselves!

Kids can explore these stages using our engaging craft, perfect for visual learners and tactile play.
