Fun Christmas Crafts
If you’re looking for ways to help kids recognise their names, this is a great way to do so. older kids can cut to make the craft and younger kids can trace the letters in their name, cut out the letters and glue them onto the candy canes.
Add some googly eyes and cardboard tubes to the back of these elf crafts and you’ve got a standing craft. Have your favorite movie Elf on in the background while you make these!

I like to also decorate the hat with some popsicle sticks and cotton balls.
Fun Elf Crafts
This printable is a twist on the basic paper plate elf where kids actually interact with the craft by making the printable more personable by adding their names.

Large letter templates for name activities and bulletin displays free.
Make sure you have some glue stick tubes ready for this as they cut and glue to put it together.
How to use these elf prechool crafts:
Print the template on construction paper, you could also print them on colored card stock. These are so much fun for kids! Kids will cut out the little elf head then the hand template along with their name strip and the letter boxes.
They then glue the letter boxes onto the candy cane, a fun way to get them recognising the letters in their names.
If you’re looking for more great ideas for name art and crafts printables. I’ve written about quite a few here!
