What is Earth Day?

Earth day is a global event that takes place on the 22nd of April each year. It’s Earth’s favorite month to learn all about plants and living species on earth. It’s aim is to make people aware of the environment and the need for sustainable living.

The first Earth Day was organized by US Senator Gaylord Nelson in 1970, with the help of United States Secretary of the Interior, Stewart Udall. The event was designed to call attention to what they saw as America’s rapidly deteriorating environment and mobilize support for legislative action.

There are many ways we can participate in this event. One way is by planting trees or other plants, recycling or disposing trash in an eco-friendly manner and conserving energy for instance by turning off lights when you leave a room or using public transportation instead of driving your car.

How do we teach kids about Global Warming?

When we teach kids about earth, a light bulb moment will always come in to naturally weave in talk about global warming and what it does to planet earth. The easiest way to teach kids about global warming is to do lab activities, show a movie or documentary, assign a research project and more. Most impirtantly, you want to open up the topic about global warming. Thats the most important aspect. You want to include as many resources as you can to teach children about the impacts of pollution on the environment.

Global warming is a global phenomenon that has been happening for the last few decades. It is an environmental issue that has been affecting the lives of people all over the world, especially those in low-lying areas.

Global warming is a global phenomenon that has been happening for the last few decades. It is an environmental issue that has been affecting the lives of people all over the world, especially those in low-lying areas. The average temperature on earth has increased by 1 degree Celsius since 1880 and this rise in temperature can be attributed to greenhouse gas emissions from human activities like manufacturing and transportation as well as deforestation.

The world is changing, and the climate is changing with it. It’s important for children to be taught about global warming from an early age so that they can grow up to be responsible adults.

Children are among the most vulnerable members of society in relation to climate change. They are more likely to suffer from extreme weather events and natural disasters than adults, as well as being more sensitive to changes in the environment. This is because their bodies and brains are still developing, which makes them more susceptible to the effects of environmental change.

It’s important for kids to have a basic understanding of global warming from a young age so that they can grow up into responsible adults who take care of this planet we all share.

Do kids know about wind farms these days?

Probably not, but here are some super fun facts about wind farms kids will love.

Wind power has been growing in popularity for the past few years. This is because wind power is a renewable energy source that does not pollute the environment. Wind farms are created by using large, rotating blades to generate electricity from wind. These rotating blades are attached to a tower and generate electricity when they rotate. The towers can be either on land or offshore.

Wind farms can be used in many different places and they provide many different benefits to people who live near them. One of the biggest benefits of these wind farms is that they produce no air pollution, unlike coal-fired plants which release sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere and contribute to acid rain.

  • wind can power earth
  • wind farms create jobs
  • wind is getting cheaper
  • wind power is sustainable

How do we teach recycling to kids?

Recycling is the act of taking used objects and turning them into new products. It is a way to reduce the amount of trash that goes into landfills.

The recycling process has three steps: sorting, cleaning, and processing. Sorting is breaking down items into materials that can be recycled. Cleaning removes any dirt or contaminants from the materials. And finally, processing takes the clean materials and turns them into new things like paper or plastic bottles.

In order to recycle more effectively, it is best to sort your recyclables by color: blue for glass bottles and jars; brown for paper; green for metal cans; clear for plastic containers; yellow for plastic bags and film plastics; orange for food scraps and clear glass jars.

One of the best ways to protect the environment is by recycling. Recycling helps reduce pollution and saves natural resources. The following are some recycling tips that can help you make a difference in your community:

– Make sure that you recycle all types of paper, cardboard, glass, metal and plastic containers.

– Look for recycling bins in public places such as malls, grocery stores and public schools.

– Collect recyclables from your home on a regular basis.

– Start a recycling program at your place of work or school.

– Encourage others to recycle by providing them with information about the benefits of recycling.

How do you use lunch notes silly jokes for kids?

I would print these out (you could print them out on colored card stock if you wish) but I use normal white copy paper here because the kids will color in the emoji they feel on the day and they need to be uncolored for this to work.

Place one note in their lunch box per day. Tell them that there is a surprise in their lunch box, have them read the note then color in the emotion for the day. Pick up the free printable at the end of this post!
