Kids will love these fall themed free Developing Cutting Skills Dinosaur Printables. I needed to make strips that ranged between easy (thicker lines to cut) to a bit more challenging lines and thickness. Preschoolers will love to pretend play as they cut their ‘dinosaur’ strips. These would make a great addition to an easy cutting worksheets independent tub.

“Scissor Skills” Occupational Therapy PDF
There are so many scissor and cutting worksheets available on the internet. I find that I continuously need cutting sheets or cards that are easier for kids to see the lines to cut.
Some children are still working on holding the scissors, so it’s essential we don’t make it more difficult for them to learn how to use the scissors.
These super easy cutting cards feature cutting lines that progress from easy to harder more curved lines.
The child will use these to practice the skill of using scissors by cutting them into smaller pieces.
These cutting strips are pre-made, so print them out, add them to your jar of cutting strips along with some scissors and you’re done!

First, I would print out the apple strips and then instruct the students that they will need to cut their apples this morning.
They will then pick a strip (again, choose the set that is easiest to begin with) and then they will follow the line to cut the strip. They continue this until all the strips are cut.
Instruct them to start at the red dots, I have mixed levels in my classes so I love incorporating different kinds of cutting strips.

This file contains 2 different sets of cutting strips (they all make the same image). They are designed by line progression to help kids maximise their learning and gradually develop their small finger muscles.
Comes in blacklines. You can choose to print on colored cardstock however.
