Interactive Notebook Ideas

These kind of notebooks work for many students, and the reason why is that they require more cutting and pasting skills, this means students can use their creative skills to make these notebooks super fun.

This is my interactive pack for working on words, letters, numbers and sentences. My students loved this activity! It is versatile and anyone can set it up in minutes.

If you choose to use it in centers, it may require some prep time. So print, laminate and cut up the cards and seal in an envelope for storage.

You could however, choose to use this in an interactive way, by printing it in black and white and on double pages so that the kids can cut and paste it into their notebooks. FUN!

Here are some images in action.

We glued the letter, word, sentence and number popcorn packs to the notebook after coloring it in.

FREE Interactive Notebook PDF Strategies to Support Learning

The interactive notebook is a powerful tool for students to learn and retain information.

There are many interactive notebooks that students can use. The most popular one is the “iPad app” because it is easy to use, has a lot of features, and is free.

Students can use their interactive notebooks to take notes, answer questions, and perform experiments.

Some students might feel intimidated by the idea of having to learn how to use a new technology. They may not know how to use an interactive notebook or how it will benefit them in the classroom.

However, if they are given some time to practice with the interactive notebook, they will soon see that it’s not as hard as it seems.

having something tangible for students to actually make will make this process even more fun! They will get to look over their notebooks and read what they’ve written and made throughout the year.
