This Build and Clip the Next Number Task Box helps students practice number sequencing, numbers 0–20, and identifying the number that comes next. Students first build the target number using linking cubes, then choose and clip the correct next number using a clothespin. The activity combines hands-on math with fine motor practice for an engaging number sense center.

How to use: Add the cards, linking cubes, and mini clothespins to a task box. Students build the number shown, decide which number comes next, then clip their answer. Use the cards for math centers, morning tubs, intervention, independent work, or special education task boxes.

These number sequencing task cards support number recognition, counting, before-and-after number skills, and fine motor development. They are ideal for kindergarten and early elementary learners who benefit from visual, tactile, and repetitive math practice.
