Hi all! I hope this post finds you well! 🙂
A group of ESL teachers and I got together to throw an insightful blog hop targeted at teaching English as a second language. This field is incredibly insightful and ever changing. A lot of research has gone into the field of ESL teaching.
One thing that research has definitely given is the fact that ESL learners are visual and they need as much visual aids as they can get to understand concepts.
Stavroula will be using my ‘main Idea’ pack with pirates.
This activity pack is amazing! Here is how I will be using it with my ESL students. Because the pack includes picture codes, I will be getting the students to sort them into their groups along with reading each strip.

Now, head on over to Stavroula’s blog to read about how to teach finding the main idea with ESL students 😉
