Five for Friday

Five for Friday {21.08.15}

Yay! So glad that this week is over. I am linking up with Kacey over at Doodle Bugs Teaching today! Go ahead and link up. 😉
We have had some major renovations in the house and I’m glad that it’s looking quite nice and in shape. :)1. My cousin’s wedding at the Miramare Gardens last weekend was amazing! So happy for him and his new wife Helen. 🙂 Here are some pictures of the even and place. My brother and his fiance Vanessa will also be getting married there and we plan on weekend getaway-ing the event too! =D
2. Wow, we’ve been to so many weddings lately that it feels like I write about one every Five for Friday haha… Anyway, here’s what we got up to in class this week! We used some action verb flashcards for my low ESL group & some interactive paragraph building activities. Check them out below:
SMS language jumbled SMS text messages. This was for my adult ESL group. 🙂

3. I have two great freebies to share with you all and wait for it… one of them is actually for organizational purposes! God knows I’m a scatterbrain and cannot for the life of me figure out what my schedule is, prioritize and do things in order. So I made this template of TPT Bundles in progress. I’m sure we are all working on these and as we go it’s great to remind ourselves of the ones we need to work on and FINISH. Man, do I have some in the works just sitting there on my hard drive (I use them in class and tutoring of course) but they just sit there until I remember to fix them up and upload them to TPT. So this little schedule should help me get ORGANIZED! I hope it helps you too! 😉

I’ve included a template with the table (you can add as many rows and change the fonts to your heart’s content and a template with an empty middle (scribble, draw giraffes, write the schedule with a dry erase pen) ANYTHING. 🙂

4. My second freebie is for sight words! I have included 40 programmed mats and an editable PPT file and you can add your own sight words easily! Just download the free fonts and you’re good to go!

Click on the image below to get you to the blog post where you can download two sample mats free. 🙂

5. Finally, I have also updated my fonts on TPT so if you’ve downloaded the pack – go ahead and get your free update from TPT –> my purchases! I love this new set! I’ve splurged so much on new fonts this year! Yikes! You can grab some FREE ones here.
