ESL First Grade Five for Friday

Five for Friday 14.05.15

Today, I am linking up with Kacey over at Doodle Bugs Teaching. πŸ™‚ I just realised that this is my 4 week in a row where I have not missed the post – yay for organisation! Watch me miss it next week haha…

Onto this week. We’ve been REAL busy with assessments and end of term (which is vast approaching) paper work… UGH!

So this week I have had a really busy mind along with a very busy desk. I don’t have a picture of that (thank God!) πŸ™‚ but here’s a nice inspirational meme which does encourage us to be kind-of-messy from time to time! πŸ˜‰
I have been doing some spring cleaning even though we’re renovating a section in our home. It looks like a complate BOMB (so no pics yet haha) – I will take before and after shots though! πŸ™‚

Anyway, I have been looking into some new scentsy candles and scents!!! πŸ™‚ Just obsessed with scented candles and all things that smell yummy in the house!! πŸ™‚

We have worked on the popcorn letter, number, word & sentence sort activity pack this week with my ESL student. I also sent home some reading comprehension activities for my ESL student.
So with the craziness of end of term coming up here in Australia – I’ve been looking into some easy recipes on weeknights to help us avoid the takeout scenarios we all dread! I’ve especially loved the idea of the crockpot although sometimes can’t bring myself to think of ideas to use with it and I’m trying to adapt my current recipes to use with the crockpot. Just love the idea of food being cooked while I complete all other chores. πŸ™‚
I have been working on some new fonts lately and I’m so excited to add them to the bundle of 101 fonts already in my store today! πŸ™‚ Here’s a fun inspirational pin I made using one of the fonts. πŸ™‚
