Five for Friday 10.07.15

Today, I am linking up with Kacey from Doodle Bugs Teaching! Love this linkup and I’ve missed it the past week! Boo.

These holidays haven’t been action packed and are mostly recuperating from the stress of the semester – so I am so grateful for that. ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s my week in review!

We have started with the renovations in the home this week and I am absolutely psyched to see it all come together. Adding a kitchen island (need the extra room in the kitchen plus a kitchen table for eating / prepping). We are also dividing one of our large rooms.

Photos coming soon! =D

I am so excited to be participating in a special sale on TPT with some other fellow sellers. This sale also includes some awesome flash freebies so you don’t want to miss it!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Now for the link to the post to get the scoop HERE. Starts on the 13th & 14th July – runs for two days! – all you really need to do is search the hashtag #christmasinjuly on TPT and you’ll get a list of the activities on sale.

I have been working on some new fun activities for sight words practice – I made these booklets a LONG time ago and I am just working to finish them off. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here’s a sneak preview of them – I am using the Fry list of words and I’ve finished the first 20 – hoping to really complete this by next week.

Here’s a sneak preview:

This is totally non-teaching related but I’ve been completely obsessed with pinning and searching recipes on Pinterest lately (if you follow me there – you would’ve most likely unfollowed or rolled your eyes a few times haha). I was watching Rachael Ray’s Weekly cooking recipe show (my new obsession) didn’t even know it existed ha! The things you become when you are married haha…

Anyway she made this chicken pasta bake with a homemade warm ceasar dressing, it is absolutely divine and I will try it next week!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s the link to the recipe if anyone would like to try. Click on the picture!

Finally, I have been feeling so bummed this week as I see pictures of all  the TPT sellers who have gone to the TPT conference this year and I was incredibly PSYCHED to see that two of my fav bloggers setup a Periscope account to LIVE stream from the event! I already saw two of their videos and they’re completely awesome!

Just download the app PERISCOPE from the app store and sign in then look for me @yaraseaofknowledge and @luckylittlelearners then look for our followers to follow everyone we are following and get the latest scoop! ๐Ÿ™‚
